This is the kind of e-mail I love to receive
Just got this message:

top notch but i think he really went all out on this one. will have to give him a big hug next time i see him at the garage in w-s and tell him all the good words and what a great label he has
representing him."
Since there haven't been any reviews of the album yet (the promo blitz hasn't begun yet, but I've mailed a few review copies out and there will be many more sent in the next week), I have had zero feedback on the Don Dixon CD so far. Therefore, this e-mail really warmed my heart and made my day! Thanks, L.!

Been busy - but my impressions of the Dixon CD continue to evolve, in a positive direction. At first I thought it was odd that a lot of the quieter tracks came first bunched together, then I thought the sequence as a whole was interesting (conceptually, perhaps, rather than musically), but as I implied, every time I listen to it, I like it more. I hope to make some more in-depth comments later.

I've got to say I'm really impressed; this sounds to me like one of his best albums. Great job all around! It took a couple of listens to grow on me, and now it's in heavy rotation in my car. Thanks!
